El jefe del Grupo Técnico 5, vicecomodoro Oscar Battelli, hizo una reseña histórica sobre los 60 años de la Brigada y luego se realizó un desfile terrestre. De manera paralela, el público disfrutó de un pasaje aéreo que estuvo a cargo de una escuadrilla de aviones A-4AR, destinados en la Unidad.
También participaron en la ceremonia personal militar de la V Brigada y del Ejército Argentino, autoridades de los aeropuertos de San Luis y Villa Reynolds, alumnos de la Escuela Nº 17 “V Brigada Aérea”, invitados especiales y público en general, quienes compartieron un ágape en el Casino de Oficiales.
El palco de autoridades fue decorado con un afiche conmemorativo, que también fue repartido en los comercios de la ciudad.
